Learn more about Martha

Hi! I'm Martha Warner.

Growing up in Kokomo, Indiana, I knew I loved three things: people, language, and helping others. I spent most of my life being around people, learning more about words, language, and communication, and helping others however I could.

After graduating high school, I traveled across the US and Mexico. I loved meeting people, communicating with them, and helping them. I also worked a variety of jobs in service and/or sales.

After settling back in Kokomo, I completed degrees in English and education, started my family, and worked several jobs. I have been teaching since 2006 in middle school, high school, community college, and university settings. I still teach composition and communications at Indiana University.

While I love teaching, I wanted to work more with words and people who I could help. So I started Martha Warner, LLC. I take my love of language and help others write and edit to meet their purpose and appeal to their audience. Every day, I get to work with people, play with language, and help others.

When I'm not following my dreams, I'm spending time with my husband, my four kids, and our two Italian Mastiffs at our farm in Kentucky or out in the world, traveling.

I look forward to seeing how I can help you!

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Throughout my life, I have worked many jobs, but those many jobs all have one thing in common: service. I love helping people! I'm content whether I'm helping them increase sales by writing content or copy, helping them clean up their systems and documents by editing, helping them find grant or scholarship funds by teaching them where to find them and how to apply for them, or helping them get their business started, I love helping others even if sometimes, that just means sitting down to talk through ideas!

I like to start off by learning a little more about a client's needs. When I know more, I can be real and transparent about how I can help. Most of the time, that help starts with strategizing. Strategizing means looking at where you are and where you want to be, so we can determine steps to get you there. From there, we can come up with a plan on how I can help. I write and ghostwrite social media, blogs, emails, and more to increase value or sales. I edit existing content to increase value or sales. I put together trainings, workshops, and courses to help others meet their needs. If I'm not the best fit for you, I can even recommend or vet individuals who might be!

Who doesn't want to increase sales of products, services, or offerings? Only unprepared people are comfortable sitting on what they have and not moving. If that's you, I'm not someone you should work with. I'm looking for the individual who has goals but needs a partner or a helping hand to make those goals reality. If you're ready, get in touch!
